Want to learn more about the fascinating subject of Astronomy?…
Do you have questions about what kind of telescope might be right for you?…
Are you wondering what there is in the sky you can see with your telescope?…
Do you want to meet other people in the area interested in astronomy?…
Does your child ask questions about the sky that are hard to answer?…
Then - Come join the activities of the Everett Astronomical Society!

Meetings are open to the public at no charge, and are held monthly at 4:00 P.M. on the last Saturday of the month (except for holiday weekends) in the Auditorium (downstairs) of the Everett Public Library. Call the EAS at (425) 486-9733 for details.

Meetings usually have a guest speaker presenting information about astronomical discoveries or research, amateur astronomy subjects, or even ancient astronomy of various cultures.

During the Spring, Summer, and fall the Everett Astronomical Society organizes local observing sessions, called "star parties", to give members and the public an opportunity to get together, learn about the sky, try out various types of telescopes, and watch interesting sky phenomenon.
